KitKat flavoured Nescafé Dolce Gusto set to take the chill out of a damp UK summer
With the UK being hit with unseasonably cool weather over the past two months, Nescafé Dolce Gusto may well be on to a winner with its latest offering in the form of KitKat Hot Chocolate pods, writes Neill Barston.
As the company explained, the beverage takes its cue from the classic confectionery line produced for the British market in York, offering a taste of the classic treat’s wafer and cocoa.
Notably, the new pods are Non-HFSS (Non-High in Fat, Salt, and Sugar) and are made with sustainably sourced cocoa as are all KitKat products.
Sophie Demoulin, Marketing Director at Nescafé Dolce Gusto UK, said: “We are really excited to have partnered with KitKat to launch our new Nescafé Dolce Gusto Hot Chocolate pods.
“Inspired by the world’s favourite break, these pods allow you to recreate your coffee shop experience and enjoy the iconic KitKat from the comfort of your sofa.”
The company’s new Dolce Gusto KitKat Hot Chocolate pods will be available in most major retailers and on the Nescafé Dolce Gusto webshop from this month.
Significantly, last month, Nescafé also teamed up with two other iconic and loved chocolate brands, the bubbly Aero Peppermint and the smooth hazelnut of the Quality Street Green Triangle to bring new limited edition frothy coffees.
The Aero Peppermint Mocha and Quality Street Green Triangle Mocha joined the Aero Golden Honeycomb Mocha as part of the expansion of the brand’s confectionery collaboration range.

Moreover, as previously reported, the company has expanded its sustainably sourced travel retail ranges in the wake of studies that have shown 71% of travellers have indicated that sustainability now influences their purchasing decisions, which has risen substantially over the past decade.
